AROS tools
Set up an AROS checkout, build with explicit toolchains, and understand the result.
Beta. Install AROS tools v0.3.19 on Linux x86-64, Linux ARM64 or Apple silicon.
aros is the command-line entry point for checkout, build, toolchain and board
workflows. The tools and AROS source live in separate repositories.
Start with a working environment
Section titled “Start with a working environment”Install the toolsChoose a package channel, native archive or source build.
Make your first buildChoose AROS-NX for the integrated build path, or start with pristine upstream.
Pick up a task

Verify a toolchainSelect a locked release or an explicit local prefix, including offline builds.
Develop an applicationUse the compiler and SDK from one matching AROS build.
Work with a physical boardSelect a Pi or Milk-V profile, stage boot artifacts, and collect hardware evidence.
